The below post is a guest written by Vivian Gomez, Founder + Owner of Om Movement Studio. We’re grateful for their support at WellNXT Miami Fest x 2026!

Studio on any given morning and you’ll find something special happening. A yoga class may be flowing with sun salutations in one room. A new Mover may be introducing themselves at the front desk. A Movement Leader is working someone hard on strength and conditioning in the back and someone is always lingering after class, continuing a conversation that began before practice. The space is filled with movement, but what people often notice most is the feeling.
Connection.
At OM Movement, we believe wellness begins there.
Our mission has always been to empower our community to lead active lifestyles that support mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. We are a collective of Movers, leaders, seekers, and lifelong students who believe that movement is about far more than exercise. It is a pathway to presence, self-discovery, and meaningful connection.
In a world that often encourages us to move faster, consume more, and stay constantly connected, we offer something different: an invitation to become more conscious of how we move through our lives.
We call it consciousness in motion.
For some, that may look like a challenging power flow. For others, it may be slowing down enough to notice their breath for the first time all day. It may be finding strength, mobility, balance, stillness, or simply a place where they feel welcome.
The practice itself matters, but the awareness we cultivate through the practice matters even more.
When we move consciously, we notice how we respond to stress. We become more aware of our habits, our energy, and our relationship with ourselves. We learn that wellness is not something we achieve once and maintain forever. It is a daily practice of returning to what matters.
This philosophy has shaped our studio from the beginning.
While the walls may hold crystals, intentions, and reminders to slow down, it is our community of Movers that truly defines the experience. Wellness has never been a solo pursuit. It grows through shared experiences, supportive relationships, and spaces where people feel seen and valued.
Today, we’re seeing that same need extend far beyond the studio walls.

Bringing Wellness into the Workplace
The modern workplace has changed dramatically over the last decade.
Teams are more connected digitally than ever before, yet many employees report feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and disconnected. Burnout continues to impact organizations across every industry, challenging leaders to rethink how they support the well-being of their people.
For many organizations, the answer has been to add more wellness benefits. Another app. Another platform. Another resource employees can access on their own time. While those tools have value, we believe something important is often missing.
Human connection.
The same principles that create transformation inside a wellness studio are the principles that help people thrive at work: presence, community, self-awareness, communication, and opportunities to connect authentically with others.
This is why corporate wellness has become such an important part of our mission.
Through mindfulness training, meditation, breathwork, mindful communication, stress reduction programs, movement sessions, wellness retreats, and workplace experiences, we help organizations create environments where wellness becomes part of the culture rather than another item on a benefits package.
The goal isn’t simply to reduce stress. It’s to help people feel more connected—to themselves, to their colleagues, and to the work they do every day.
We’ve seen firsthand what happens when teams take time to move together, breathe together, and step away from the constant pace of modern work. Conversations become more meaningful. Energy shifts. People show up differently.
The future of wellness isn’t found in doing more or on a screen. It’s found in creating spaces— whether in a studio, an office, or a community gathering—where people can reconnect with themselves and with one another.
And that begins with a single conscious breath, a single mindful movement, and a community willing to move forward together.
